## Words it is confused with

- this: points at something nearer or more immediate, still vague without a noun
- that: points at something farther or past, equally dependent on context
- they: plural or singular indefinite, shifts to people or entities rather than objects
- IT: capitalized, means the department or field of information technology
- id: identifier in code and databases, sounds similar but names a specific attribute
